Wine tasting
A great evening was had at NEILLS WINES
We would like to thank NEILL WINE for providing the venue. The owner was on hand to explain the attributes of the various wines which he stocks. TESCO SPRINGHILL donated the cheeses, fruit and nibbles and we are most grateful for their generosity. Bloomfield Laser Clinic, Cottage Kitchen, Gabby’s, Groomsport Inn, Groomsport Garden Nurseries, Merab Opie, Neill Wine, Picasso Hair, Spar Groomsport, Stables and Gordon’s Wine Bar all provided items for the raffle.

Some photos...History Tour of Groomsport
This proved to be a very pleasant walk around the village, confidently led by local tour guide Colin Crozier. We even learned how Legal Precedence was set by a former local Rector in the 19th century, as part of the many interesting snippets of information that Colin was able entertain us with.

Participants were fully involved from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm with only a short break for a well deserved lunch. This training is invaluable to the village and we would encourage all villagers to participate fully in courses organised by the GVA.

Groomsport residents want to present the village in pristine condition. The area is popular with dog walkers and we are keen to promote responsible dog ownership.
This means, among other things, that owners are expected to, at least, keep their dogs under control and clean up after them.
We had a lot of responsible owners enjoying the sunshine at the big lunch.

Everyone was out eating their lunch in the sunshine.
